It's not their choice.
They can't really do anything about DDoS,

For some reason i got a very strange feeling now.
I'd love to know if guys from CCP are actually checking
logs or doing whatever, just to notice early if somebody
tries to break in ... and then after that, there comes a DDoS again ...
